“ Went for a second time and had some more amazing food. Got Palak Patta ki chaat, Aloo chaap, Pratapgarh ke sakorey, stuffed bitter gourd, and a yummy paan kulfi for dessert. Can't say which one is my favorite because they are all equally YUMMY. Prataogarh ke sakorey had yummy mini spinach pakoras in a tangy spicy gravy. Mind blowing. The stuffing in the karela or bitter gourd had a strong flavor of fennel. It overpowered the other flavors but nevertheless it was yummy and not at all bitter. Their paneer curry is good; but nothing earth shattering like the other dishes I had. The jilebi rabri was pretty spectacular. ”
“ Best Indian restaurant in Seattle Bellevue area for us personally. Really good food and great service! Bustling over the weekend do recommend taking a reservation. Lovely decor outside and inside. Food was the highlight! Took me back to India. The Banarasi lassi was a dessert in a beverage! So refreshing. Favourite was the aloo tikki chaat - so crispy and flavorful. Tried new cuisines which were a delightful surprise - fusion gorakhpuri kofta and matka lasooni kathal. Kofta is a must try! ”
“ Have been there twice and both times I enjoyed their appetizers specially chaat items thoroughly! The palak papdi chaat, Dahi ke gulgule, tikki- everything is great and quite filling! Kathal biryani and paneer sabzi were ok! Maybe it's authentic banarasi food but main course was not to my taste. Their desserts are also pretty good. Will I return- for sure! But I will just order appetizers and desserts! ”
“ We have been here a couple times now for dinner. It can get crowded for dinner during the weekend, we didn't have a reservation and had to wait a bit. During our last visit we got Pani Ke Batashey, Chacha Ki Poori Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabzi, Dum Kaju Paneer and Tandoori Roti. Pani Ke Batashey was okay, we liked both Chacha Ki Poori Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabzi, and Dum Kaju Paneer. ”
“ Great and there are many dishes to try. This menu stands out from your traditional Indian cuisine menu with many vegetarian options to try. The service was friendly and fast. ”
“ Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Went for Malaiyo and it closely resembles to Shri ji's Malaiyo. Tried Tamatar chat, it was also tasty but it was very different than Kashi chat bhandar. If you like spicy food ie khada masala then you are in for a treat if you order Gorakhpuri Kofta. For some fried things we smelled taste of mustard oil and we are not big fan of it. So avoided eating fried items from menu. Service is great as always and ambiance is very nice. ”
“ One of the Best Indian restaurant in Seattle area. I like that their menu is short but they do an amazing job with everything that they sell. We tried litthi choka, puri with tamatar aloo, jalebi rabri, dahi puri, soya chaap and everything was just AMAZING. We just did not enjoy the kadhai milk and paan. I just hope that they are reusing the glasses (kulhad). ”
“ I've recommended this vegetarian Indian restaurant to countless friends, and they've all come back raving about it. Recently, I finally had the chance to try it myself--and it mostly lived up to the buzz! Here's my take: The Palak Patta Chaat was a standout with its delightful crunch--every bite was a textural joy. The Kachori Aloo Ki Subzi stole the show, though; it was hands down the most flavorful and comforting dish of the evening. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was a close second, served authentically with yogurt and chutneys instead of the more common chickpea curry pairing. The Thandai was refreshing and perfectly spiced, while the Lassi was so thick and creamy that you practically had to eat it with a spoon--definitely a unique experience! Here's where the restaurant truly shines. The Litti Chokha, Sattu Ka Parantha, and Aloo Puri were all exceptional. My only critique is the puri itself--it felt too plain and could be elevated to a Bedmi Puri for a more flavorful experience. Still, the accompanying dishes were so delicious that it made up for the shortfall. Unfortunately, dessert was a letdown. We tried the Gajar Ka Halwa and Jalebi with Rabri, but the rabri was far too liquidy. Plus, all desserts are served in individual cups, making them tricky to share--a bit of a disappointment for group dining. The restaurant excels in authentic and flavorful vegetarian fare, particularly in its starters and mains. While the desserts and a few details (like the puri) could use some improvement, this spot is definitely worth visiting for its unique offerings and dedication to authenticity. I'll happily keep recommending it! ”
“ I went to this place with some friends. First of all this place is pure vegetarian and is almost like Indian street food. If you like street food though, you will love this place. We had kachori, dahi kebab equivalent, litti chokha, puri aloo and sattu parantha and everything tasted divine. For dessert we had Malaiyo which was also amazing. 10/10 would revisit, in fact everyone in my friend group said they would come back with their family. Service and ambience is also great, just like any mid scale restaurant. Only thing I would say is that food is a bit pricey here ”
